President Donald Trump announced in a speech in Miami that the regulatory challenges in the cryptocurrency sector have come to an end. He stated that digital assets like Bitcoin have the potential to revitalize the U.S. economy and expressed intentions to achieve global leadership in this area.

Speaking on the first day of the America Business Forum, Trump emphasized that cryptocurrencies are a vital industry, stating that new regulations need to be initiated. "I signed historic decisions that ended the war on crypto. Crypto is no longer under siege," he said, indicating that the previously negative attitudes have now been left behind.

President Trump mentioned that the cryptocurrency sector is supported by major and influential businesspeople, pointing out that this offers significant opportunities for the country's economy. He also added that digital assets strengthen the dollar, saying, "Crypto reduces the pressure on the dollar. It has very beneficial effects, and we are in this business."

While criticizing the previous administration, he remarked, "Biden was ruthless against crypto, targeting people." In this context, Trump argued that the U.S. should be a leader in Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, using the phrase, "We are making America a Bitcoin superpower, the crypto capital."

In his speech, Trump also made assessments regarding artificial intelligence, describing the U.S. as a leader in this field. He drew attention to China's advancements in this area, warning, "If we don’t get crypto right, China will. This is a huge industry."

Pointing out that current policies are not supported by new regulations, Trump recalled that among the steps taken by the White House this year are the establishment of a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve and Digital Asset Stock. He also noted that the GENIUS Act has put in place a framework for stablecoins. Trump rejected the idea of a central bank digital currency (CBDC) and emphasized that cryptocurrency policies support the global strength of the dollar.
