


U.S. President Donald Trump announced that Kazakhstan has officially decided to take a significant step by joining the Abraham Accords. This announcement was made during a special dinner held at the White House. The leaders of Kazakhstan, including President Kasım Cömert Tokayev, as well as the leaders of Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan, attended the event and became part of this critical process.
During the second U.S.-Central Asia Summit held after 2023, Trump emphasized the significance of the Abraham Accords for the Middle East and surrounding countries. In his speech, he stated, "I am very pleased to announce that Kazakhstan has officially accepted (to join the agreement). This is an official news. Approximately 15 minutes ago, a tremendous country with a strong leader officially joined the Abraham Accords. This is a great honor. It is truly a great honor to be with you," he expressed.
Trump also mentioned in a statement on social media that he had a phone conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, confirming Kazakhstan's participation. He promised that the official signing ceremony would take place very shortly. This development is considered a significant turning point in peace efforts in the Middle East. Kazakhstan's participation could bring new life to these peace processes.
