


Şişecam has secured significant financing from abroad.
The company announced that it has signed a long-term loan agreement of up to 550 million euros with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) to finance the investment in the Tarsus flat glass factory and the working capital of its existing facilities in Turkey.
According to the announcement, 150 million euros of this loan is interest-free for two years and has a total maturity of seven years. The remaining amount is also interest-free for two years and has a total maturity of five years. Additionally, 296 million euros of this loan volume has been transferred to the company's accounts on November 6, 2025.
