Dominari Holdings (DOMH), Donald Trump's sons Eric and Donald Jr. are connected to this investment company, which is collaborating with the Bitcoin programmability project Hemi to advance plans for a digital asset treasury and exchange-traded fund (ETF).
Dominari Securities and Hemi have joined forces to develop the Hemi project, supported by senior Bitcoin developer Jeff Garzik. This partnership will enable institutional investors to invest in BTC-centric markets through the HEMI token.
Dominari Holdings is located in Trump Tower in New York City, where Eric and Donald Trump Jr. are among the investors in the company. They also serve on the company's advisory board.
In a statement made on Monday, the company committed to purchasing $2 billion worth of shares in BlackRock's largest spot Bitcoin ETF, the iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), by taking a different approach to adopting Bitcoin as a treasury asset in March.
Under the joint venture between Dominari and Hemi, American Ventures LLC made a significant investment in the Hemispheres Foundation. This organization, which is the primary manager of the Hemi project, aims to create a single "super network" by combining decentralized finance (DeFi) capabilities on Bitcoin with Ethereum. Last August, it raised $15 million to expand its ecosystem.
Hemi aims to integrate infrastructures developed on hybrid chains built on Bitcoin and Ethereum, like competitors such as Lombard, to make Bitcoin more compatible. This is intended to leverage Bitcoin's $2.4 trillion market value to improve the digital asset industry.
