


Turkish Airlines (THY) has secured a loan of 2.9 billion Chinese yuan (approximately 412 million US dollars) through a financial transaction with the Bank of China. This significant step has been taken to support THY's growth objectives.
This loan will be directed towards THY’s fleet expansion efforts, investments in new facilities, and infrastructure projects at Istanbul Airport, among other strategic development areas. Thus, the aim is to enhance Turkish Airlines' competitive strength in the international market.
The coordination of this financial transaction has been provided by Bank of China Turkey AŞ, while Bank of China Macau branch acted as the loan provider. This collaboration stands out as part of Turkish Airlines' efforts to diversify its financial resources.
