The results of the interest rate survey conducted by Bloomberg HT, involving 19 financial institutions, have been announced. The market expects the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) to reduce the policy interest rate by 150 basis points from %39.5 to %38 in the meeting to be held on December 11.

Differences in Interest Rate Predictions

In the survey, the lowest policy interest rate forecast for December is %38, while the highest forecast is %38.5. These results are shaped according to the median predictions of the participants.

2026 Year-End Interest Rate Expectations

The interest rate forecast of market participants for the end of 2026 points to the %28 level. The highest expectation among participants is recorded as %32, while the lowest forecast is %26.

Compared to previous surveys, the interest rate expectations for the end of 2025 in the surveys conducted in December 2024 were at the %31 level.
