The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) is drawing attention with the increase recorded in its reserves. In the week of October 10, gross reserves rose from 186.2 billion dollars to 189.7 billion dollars, reaching a record level.
During the same period, net reserves also showed a significant increase. Net reserves rose from 75.2 billion dollars to 79.3 billion dollars, coinciding with the positive atmosphere in the markets.
In the week of October 10, net reserves excluding swaps also continued to recover, increasing to 61.8 billion dollars. The previous week, this figure was 59.5 billion dollars, thus the increase presents a sustainable outlook.
