New Era at the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey

The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (TCMB) has updated its Electronic Data Distribution System (EVDS), one of the most important data sources in the economy and finance world since 1993, and has released the EVDS 3 version in beta.

New Features and User Experience

As of January 2026, the EVDS 3, which prioritizes user experience, brings a series of innovations particularly for researchers, economists, and data analysts. With its advanced search engine and keyword support, accessing searched data has become easier. Data is presented in a more organized manner under increasing thematic subject headings.

Transparency and Global Integration

The newly added metadata windows provide brief information about the source of the data and the methods of calculation, enhancing transparency. Additionally, the system has been enriched to include not only national data but also international statistics.

Publication Schedule and Transition Process

Users can now directly track when data will be updated through the system. Furthermore, the EVDS 2 version will remain accessible for a while longer. This strategic step has been taken to facilitate users' adaptation to the new system.

Users can access current guides through the platform to explore all the features of the new interface.
