TUIK has announced the September 2025 data regarding Poultry Farming Production. According to the data, chicken meat production showed a significant increase, while egg production experienced a decline.

Production Changes in September

In September, chicken egg production decreased by 5.3 percent compared to the same period last year, reaching 1 billion 731 million 478 thousand units. Meanwhile, the number of chickens slaughtered increased by 6.3 percent, and chicken meat production rose by 6.9 percent, totaling 228 thousand 846 tons.

January-September Period Report

In the January-September period, chicken egg production decreased by 8.9 percent compared to the previous year. Verified data also indicates a remarkable increase of 12.7 percent in chicken meat production. The number of chickens slaughtered during this period showed an increase of 10.3 percent.
