Standard Chartered: Bitcoin could see $135,000.

In recent weeks, Bitcoin has attracted attention with a value increase of %13. The cryptocurrency is currently approaching its historic peak of 124,500 dollars, signaling a strong rally in the markets. Standard Chartered predicts that Bitcoin could reach 135,000 dollars in the short term and could see 200,000 dollars by the end of the year.

Geoffrey Kendrick, Head of Digital Asset Research at Standard Chartered, noted that the current momentum has accelerated especially due to the U.S. government's shutdown process and shifts in the exchange-traded funds (ETF). Kendrick emphasized that the shutdown processes of the U.S. government are more effective than in previous periods, and expressed that as investor confidence in U.S. Treasury bonds decreases, the shift towards Bitcoin will increase.

The recent strengthening correlation between Bitcoin and the U.S. 10-year Treasury yield premium supports investors’ tendency to seek alternative assets. Kendrick mentioned that investors exiting gold ETFs have started to move towards Bitcoin ETFs, stating that this has provided significant support for Bitcoin’s price. According to reports, there has been a net inflow of over 58 billion dollars into Bitcoin ETFs so far. Out of this total, 23 billion dollars occurred in the year 2025 alone.

Just last week, Bitcoin ETFs saw a significant investment inflow of 2.25 billion dollars. Analysts believe that if this momentum continues, an additional 20 billion dollars could be attracted by the end of the year, potentially pushing the price of Bitcoin to 200,000 dollars. Investors should closely monitor these developments and consider the market trends.
