The Capital Markets Board (CMB) successfully completed the 2026 Winter Term program of its Educational Seminar for University Students, aimed at increasing the level of financial literacy and enhancing the recognition of capital markets.
These seminars, held annually, are conducted in line with the financial education action plan outlined in the presidential decree. During these seminars, which take place over a week in both winter and summer terms, valuable information on various topics is provided to university students.
This year, the program titled “Cyber World and Financial Traces” drew attention within the framework of Global Money Week. In this context, the presentation titled “Finfluencer or Fraudencer?” addressed topics such as phantom accounts, types of financial fraud, ways to protect against cyber threats, and economic manipulations conducted through digital traces, illustrated with current examples.
Students who successfully completed the seminar are entitled to receive a participation certificate after the program. To date, approximately 18,000 university students have been issued participation certificates, indicating that the CMB's educational activities target a broad audience.
