"Fresh Start in Table Olive Exports: Record Increase"

The 2024/25 olive season made a remarkable start with Turkey's table olive exports amounting to 255 million dollars. This figure is recorded as a new record in the sector, while olive exports showed a significant increase in the first month of the year.

The President of the Aegean Olive and Olive Oil Exporters Association (EZZİB), Emre Uygun, shared positive developments in the sector, stating that black olive exports increased by 9 percent compared to the first month of the previous season. Black olive exports, which stood at 17.8 million dollars in the same period last season, reached 19.5 million dollars in the new season.

This increase is seen as an indication of Turkey's competitiveness in olive production worldwide. High-quality olive varieties and effective promotional activities in international markets reinforce Turkey's success in olive exports.
