


Türkiye Şişe ve Cam Fabrikaları A.Ş. (Şişecam) has signed an important long-term loan agreement with the International Finance Corporation (IFC). This strategic move aims to strengthen the financing of Şişecam's ongoing projects and its existing facilities in Turkey.
In a statement made to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), it was stated that the total loan amounting to 550 million Euros will be used for the investment in the Tarsus Flat Glass Factory and working capital financing. Of the loan distribution, 150 million Euros will be repaid over a total of 7 years with a 2-year grace period, while the remainder will be repaid over a total of 5 years with a 2-year grace period. In this context, it is expected that an amount of 296 million Euros will be transferred to Şişecam's accounts on November 6, 2025.
This loan move is considered a critical step for Şişecam's growth objectives. The collaboration with the International Finance Corporation aims to increase the company's competitiveness in the global market. Moreover, the investment in the Tarsus Flat Glass Factory is expected to contribute to increasing production capacity and reinforcing its position in the industry.
