Established in 2011, this award honors private technology partners working in close collaboration with JPMorganChase and selects organizations that showcase significant innovations each year.
JPMorganChase Chief Information Officer and Data Analytics Director Michael Urciuoli stated, "We are aware of the risks associated with the misuse of AI by malicious actors, in addition to all the opportunities that AI presents." He added, "Reality Defender has helped secure our communications against deepfake impersonations and has worked alongside our teams to integrate into our workflows."
Reality Defender provides support to global organizations in safeguarding against synthetic media threats. By seamlessly integrating into workflows and infrastructure, it verifies the reliability of communications and content, enhances digital trust, and ensures business continuity by reducing exposure to fraud.
CEO and Co-Founder Ben Colman remarked, "Being accepted into the JPMorganChase Innovation Hall is an incredible honor." He continued, "JPMorganChase has been a key partner in our mission to build trust in the AI era. Together, we have demonstrated the importance of scalable, robust proactive defenses against deepfakes, and the need to protect communications and identities across the financial ecosystem."
This announcement follows the launch of Reality Defender's RealAPI, which has expanded deepfake detection capabilities to all developers.
