PNC Bank has become the first major bank in the U.S. to offer direct spot Bitcoin (BTC) trading through its digital banking platform. This innovative feature is available exclusively to clients of PNC Private Banking who meet certain criteria.

The new system is supported by Coinbase's Crypto-as-a-Service infrastructure. Thanks to this long-awaited integration, customers can conduct Bitcoin transactions without using a separate crypto exchange and can hold their Bitcoins within the platform.
