Blockchain.com has successfully obtained regulatory approval in the United Kingdom. This achievement comes after about four years of uncertainties surrounding the approval process from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

As of 2023, the company has been included in the FCA's list of licensed cryptocurrency firms under the trade name BC Operations. This situation indicates the company's desire to further expand its operations.

On the other hand, Blockchain.com withdrew its FCA license application in March 2022. This decision was made shortly before a specific approval deadline and at a time when it had not received a favorable assessment previously.
