Market Structure Law is Delayed, Crypto Values Remain Limited

Benchmark analyst Mark Palmer noted that the absence of a market structure law is increasing regulatory risk premiums for crypto assets in the United States, limiting valuation expansion.

Palmer pointed out that infrastructure is best positioned alongside Bitcoin, while exchanges, decentralized finance (DeFi), and alternative cryptocurrencies are expected to lag behind.

However, Palmer stated that the likelihood of the law passing is still high, although the timing risk has increased.
