Multiverse and Palantir Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: PLTR) are entering into a new strategic partnership aimed at enhancing the skills of the personnel using the NHS Federated Data Platform (FDP). As part of this collaboration, new internship programs specifically tailored for NHS will be launched to develop the artificial intelligence and data skills of staff working in healthcare.

The NHS FDP, a platform provided by Palantir, brings together critical data held in separate systems, allowing staff to access the information they need from a single secure environment. This system currently enables more operations to be carried out in 77 NHS Trusts and facilitates quicker discharges for patients, with 73 new participants and 41 Integrated Health Boards having joined the program.

This strategic partnership aims to leverage Multiverse's expertise in digital skills training to help NHS staff utilize the FDP to its full potential. This approach is critical for increasing operations in healthcare, improving patient care, and reducing wait times.

Multiverse Founder and CEO Euan Blair stated, “To truly unlock the potential of the NHS Federated Data Platform, we need a workforce that is confident in using data and artificial intelligence.” He added, “This partnership is not just about implementing new technology, but investing in the education of the people who will use it every day. We are proud to be part of such a significant step in NHS's digital evolution.”

Palantir UK and Europe Vice President Louis Mosley said, “The NHS FDP is already improving patient care while also reducing bureaucratic tasks for doctors and nurses. It is expected to save £150 million each year.” He continued, “We must now put more effort into increasing the number of NHS staff receiving technology training, and this partnership will be at the center of that.”

Multiverse and Palantir will collaborate to create new internship programs focused on training for the FDP. The first cohorts are planned to start in February 2026. The training curriculum will be tailored to meet the needs of various NHS roles, from analysts to managers and from clinical staff to administrators. By focusing on hands-on learning, these programs will help NHS organizations integrate the FDP into their workflows.

With this investment in the skills of its employees, NHS will improve operational workflows, achieve more efficient resource allocation, and provide a tangible impact on patient health by reaping the benefits of its technological investments. This partnership represents a significant step in supporting NHS's mission to deliver world-class care through the use of artificial intelligence and data.
