The Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that the deadline for motorcycle couriers to obtain their authorization certificates at a 95% discount is approaching. Minister Uraloğlu stated that after November 15, the fee for an authorization certificate for a motorcycle will increase from 7,662 TL to 17,252 TL. This change presents a significant opportunity for motorcycle couriers, and he emphasized that the upcoming days should be evaluated carefully.

The changes made on May 15 to the Highway Transport Regulation created a broad range of regulations that also affect how motorcycle couriers operate. In this context, the authorization certificates given to motorcycle couriers aim to ensure that they meet professional infrastructure and safety standards. The implementation is considered a step taken to increase transport safety while also aiming to enhance service quality.

In his statements, Minister Uraloğlu also expressed: "Motorcycle couriers represent an important segment of transportation. The opportunity to obtain authorization certificates at affordable prices can positively develop employment and competition in the sector." Especially with the increase in deliveries made by motorcycles in congested urban traffic, the importance of this period becomes even more pronounced.

However, since this discounted period provided for motorcycle couriers is only valid for a limited time, it is advised that those who wish to take advantage of the opportunity act quickly. Applications must be completed by November 15 at the latest to avoid missing out on the opportunity. Additionally, it is emphasized that motorcycle couriers should thoroughly review the necessary documents and procedures during this process.
