


International credit rating agencies Moody's and Standard & Poor's (S&P) have announced important timelines regarding Turkey's credit rating and economic outlook for the year 2026. These dates stand out as thresholds that will determine Turkey's international economic position.
Moody's has set the first assessment date for Turkey in 2026 as January 23, 2026. The agency also announced the second date for reassessing Turkey's economic outlook during the year as July 24, 2026. Moody's has maintained Turkey's credit rating at the level of “Ba3” and has evaluated its outlook as “Stable” since 2025.
Another credit rating agency, Standard & Poor’s (S&P), has created a two-phase evaluation timeline for the Turkish economy. S&P's first report related to Turkey will be published on April 17, 2026, while the second assessment will take place on October 16, 2026.
