One of Turkey's leading retailers, Migros, has decided to incorporate more than 8,000 warehouse and distribution employees into its own workforce.
In an official statement made to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), it was noted that employees working at 43 distribution centers across Turkey, which were operating through subcontractor firms, have been included in Migros's own staff.
The statement emphasized Migros's goal of integrating its growing distribution center operations, developed through warehouse investments in recent years, with its core activities end-to-end.
With this development, 7,875 employees will transition to Migros's staff, allowing them to benefit from their existing earned rights as well as union rights under the collective labor agreement that has been in effect at Migros for 54 years.
