The Ministry of Trade has decided to impose administrative fines totaling 12.9 million TL on those who engaged in illegal practices during the discount period in November.

Consumer Complaints Evaluated

According to information obtained from the Ministry, consumer complaints received during the discount periods were thoroughly examined. In a meeting of the Advertising Board, a total of 108 cases were evaluated and concluded.

Number of Illegal Cases

Among these cases, 93 cases were found to be illegal and were penalized. Additionally, in order to protect consumer rights, a suspension decision was made for 57 cases, and an access restriction decision was made for 16 cases.
