Metaplanet Raises Funds with New Share Issuance

Metaplanet is preparing to raise 21 billion yen (approximately 137 million dollars) to pay off debts and acquire more Bitcoin. This Tokyo-based Bitcoin treasury will issue new shares and offer a series of stock acquisition rights through a third-party allocation.

New Shares and Goals

Metaplanet will issue a total of 24.53 million new ordinary shares at a price of 499 yen per share. The company's current debt is reported to be approximately 280 million dollars.
