Flat Salary Increase Proposal Withdrawn

The 30 thousand lira flat salary increase regulation planned for high-level bureaucrats has been withdrawn due to the lack of consensus in the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM).

Developments in the General Assembly

During the General Assembly meeting held last night, it was expected that the flat salary increase regulation would be included in the tax regulation. However, the inability to reach an agreement between the parties prevented this regulation from being advanced.

Increase Was Planned

This regulation was intended to provide a total of 30 thousand lira flat salary increase to high-level bureaucrats, managers, and career personnel. However, the current uncertainty puts the implementation of this important regulation at risk.
