Mastercard will enable username transitions with Polygon.

Mastercard announced that it will use Polygon technology to support verified username transfers in its wallets.

In this new system, the payment API company Mercuryo will verify users and assign aliases linked to their identities on the chain.

The aim of the application is to reduce transfer errors and make crypto tools more accessible to mainstream users.
