BTQ Teknolojileri A.Ş. and Quobly have introduced QLEO, a groundbreaking development in quantum simulations. This next-generation quantum emulator, supported by QPerfect's MIMIQ engine, offers up to 100% faster simulations in complete compatibility with NVIDIA CUDA-Q.
This collaboration creates a bridge between quantum and classical systems, allowing developers and researchers to design and test quantum algorithms in GPU and CPU environments. This is recorded as a significant step towards achieving industrial-scale quantum systems.
Introduced during the Supercomputing Conference (SC25), QLEO highlights Europe's leadership in quantum innovation and accelerates BTQ's goal for quantum-secure, industrial-scale computing.
The second-generation version of QLEO offers a powerful engine integrated with GPU acceleration, providing significant performance gains using NVIDIA's cuQuantum SDK. Developers can now write quantum circuits in CUDA-Q language and run them on QLEO without changing the code.
This update provides over 100% speed gain for quantum simulation, enabling users to quickly design and test their algorithms. With the utilization of NVIDIA's powerful infrastructure, QLEO is fully compatible with successful data centers and cloud platforms worldwide. This makes advanced quantum simulations more accessible.
From an industrial and research perspective, quantum circuit simulation is one of the cornerstones of the quantum algorithm development process. While CPU-based approaches rapidly reach performance limits, GPU acceleration has changed the game. The updated version of QLEO allows for larger-scale simulations and accelerates innovation in local and global industries.
Quobly CEO Maud Vinet stated, "With GPU acceleration and full CUDA-Q compatibility, we are empowering our community to explore quantum-classical workflows at unprecedented scale and speed." BTQ CEO Olivier Roussy Newton commented, "The launch of QLEO is a significant milestone in bringing quantum computing from labs to scalable, real-world applications."
The next-generation QLEO is currently available on the OVHcloud Quantum Platform. Additionally, it can be installed on personal computers with a simple pip install command.
