Construction Cost Index is Rising

In August 2025, the construction cost index showed an increase of 1.05 percent compared to the previous month, recording a year-on-year increase of 22.82 percent.

Changes in Material and Labor Indices

Compared to the previous month:
- Material index: 1.46 percent increase - Labor index: 0.28 percent increase

Additionally, compared to the same month last year:
- Material index: 19.17 percent increase - Labor index: 30.16 percent increase

Increase in Building Construction Cost Index

The building construction cost index also increased during the same period:
- Compared to the previous month: 1.15 percent increase
- Year-on-year: 22.53 percent increase.

The changes in material and labor indices are as follows:
