In recent days, developments in online shopping have significantly shaped consumers' approaches to discount periods. A study provided valuable data that reveals e-commerce users' perceptions of trust during discount seasons. The research involved 1537 users who have had e-commerce experiences, highlighting the impact of discount periods on purchasing decisions.
It was determined that 81% of the participants regularly follow certain discount periods. This indicates how organized consumers' shopping strategies are. One of the most important factors influencing purchasing decisions is price comparison, which is consistently conducted by 94% of the participants. This suggests a significant awareness of the need to consciously monitor price differences.
However, the mental load of continuously tracking prices has started to be questioned, especially among shopping enthusiasts. An interesting finding in the study showed that 35% of participants reported feeling exhausted from this process and experiencing stress while shopping. This indicates that e-commerce companies need to develop strategies that make users' shopping experiences more enjoyable.
The identification of reliable online retailers is a critical factor that influences consumer preferences. The sense of trust established in the e-commerce sector plays an important role in store and platform selection. Consumers focus not only on price but also on factors such as reliability, product quality, and customer service when shopping. As a result, enhancing the quality of the online shopping experience can increase user loyalty.
These findings present an important opportunity for e-commerce platforms to develop active strategies during discount periods. Identifying the most reliable online retailers stands out as an approach that refreshes consumer trust.
