The Ministry of Treasury and Finance is continuing preparations for new external borrowing in euros. In the official statement made by the ministry, important banks have been authorized to carry out 8-year bond issuance within the scope of the 2026 external financing program.
The Treasury has authorized leading international financial institutions such as Deutsche Bank, HSBC, JPMorgan, and Societe Generale for this bond issuance, and it is expected that the borrowing operations will create a significant source of financing.
According to the financial platform Bloomberg, the initial return expectation for these bond issuances is shaping up to be around 5.5%. This new bond presents an attractive option for investors and may serve as a safe haven against market fluctuations.
