Hasan Eker is re-elected to the TÜRSAB Board of Directors.

The 26th Ordinary General Assembly of the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TÜRSAB) was held with intense participation in the heart of Istanbul. This significant event served as a meeting point for representatives of the travel and tourism sector. The discussions held during the general assembly about the future of the sector generated excitement among the participants.

The election process was quite competitive. In this critical election, where four candidates competed, the current president Firuz Bağlıkaya secured the presidency again with substantial support from the delegates. Bağlıkaya, who received 3,053 votes, significantly widened the gap with his rivals and is preparing to direct TÜRSAB's efforts towards the future with a renewed management list.

Another significant figure in Bağlıkaya's management list is Hasan Eker, the Chairman of the Board of Burkon Tourism & Congress and Network Fair Organization, who also succeeded in retaining his position on the TÜRSAB Board of Directors. Eker’s experience and expertise in the sector will create an important source of strength in TÜRSAB's executive board.

Industry professionals and delegates welcomed Hasan Eker's re-election with great satisfaction. Eker possesses senior management experience and offers a deep understanding of sectoral developments.
