The Mysterious Whale Re-entered Long Position with Zcash

In recent days, the fluctuations in the price of Zcash (ZEC) continue to attract the attention of investors. Particularly, large investors have become active again with the movements in Zcash. A mysterious whale opened hefty long positions in Zcash after making a profit of 1.25 million dollars.

According to data shared by the on-chain analysis platform Lookonchain, the investor with the address "0x6EF9" invested 6.27 million USDC and opened a limit long position at 509.5 dollars on the Hyperliquid exchange. This position quickly grew to a trading volume of 20,833 ZEC (approximately 12 million dollars) and provided the whale with an unrealized profit of around 1.44 million dollars. Subsequently, the investor closed this position, realizing a profit of 1.25 million dollars.

During this process, it was also observed that two new wallets became active. Investors with the addresses "0x089f" and "0x8AAE" opened 10x leveraged long positions in Zcash by investing 3.54 million USDC and 3.62 million USDC, respectively. These developments indicate that Zcash whales, which have drawn attention with large trading activities in recent weeks, have become active in the market again.

These developments, along with the recent sharp movements in the Zcash price, suggest that the increased interest from whales could lead to a rise in short-term volatility.
