


The Economic Coordination Board (EKK) held an important meeting chaired by Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz. The location of the meeting was determined to be the Presidential Complex, Turkey's center of governance. Many prominent figures and high-ranking officials attended this critical meeting.
In addition to ministers such as Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek, Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, and Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat, important figures from the ruling AK Party also participated. Names such as AK Party Group Chairman Abdullah Güler, Deputy Chairman Efkan Ala, and Deputy Chairman Nihat Zeybekci, along with Presidential Strategy and Budget Director İbrahim Şenel and Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) President Fatih Karahan, who are influential in the economy, were also present.
During the meeting, detailed evaluations were made regarding the current state of the country's economy. It was learned that participants expressed their concerns about market fluctuations and inflation, and discussed potential solutions. They particularly focused on managing the fluctuations in exchange rates and increasing costs.
Participants emphasized the need to clarify policies to achieve economic growth targets. It was also reported that there was a consensus on strengthening cooperation between the public and private sectors. In this context, investment incentives and employment-boosting projects were discussed.
The government aims to develop a comprehensive strategy to ensure economic stability and support growth. The outcomes of the meeting will serve as a guiding framework for upcoming reforms and programs.
