Ege Yapı, while celebrating its 20th anniversary in the construction sector, draws attention with its completion of 2 million square meters of construction area and the delivery of more than 8 thousand residences. The investment value of the company's 2023 projects has exceeded 500 million dollars, marking the beginning of a period of globalization and deepening in the sector.
Ege Yapı's Chairman İnanç Kabadayı stated that they have started a total of four new projects in Istanbul and Izmir. He expressed that, in addition to projects in Beyoğlu, Göktürk, Şile, and Bahçeşehir, they continue the deliveries of the Modernyaka Project. The year 2026 is planned as a delivery year along with the start of new projects.
Kabadayı stated, “We have started exporting as a real estate developer and contractor globally from Turkey,” revealing that they have built 178 villas with the Halkidiki project in Greece. He also mentioned a planned investment of 100 million dollars in Dubai and investments made in England and the USA.
Kabadayı expressed disagreement with the view that housing is not expensive in Turkey, stating that the main issue is affordability. He emphasized that in 2025, 1.68 million residences were sold, with only 15 percent of this number sold with housing loans.
Ege Yapı GYO General Manager Didem Güneş stated that they aim to grow short and long-term rental services with the The Superior Living brand from their group of companies. She announced that they will be adding a new location in Izmir soon.
Kabadayı emphasized that the real estate sector in Turkey needs to deepen in terms of financial instruments, announcing that alternative financing models such as real estate certificates and project real estate investment funds will become more widespread.
