President Erdoğan Announces New Housing Project

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made important statements at the Century's Housing Project Program held in Başakşehir, Istanbul.

First Steps for Homeownership in Turkey

Erdoğan said, "We are implementing one of Turkey's largest social state projects, and together we will say 'Homeowner Turkey'." He expressed that those who set out with the hope of owning a home have faced grievances.

500 Thousand Social Housing Project

The President announced, "We are on the ground for the housing project of the century in the 'Turkish Century.' We are initiating a campaign for 500 thousand social housing. We will build 100 thousand of them in Istanbul," sharing details about the project. He stated that a 10% quota would be reserved for families with three or more children.

Distribution of Housing in Other Cities

He revealed that they would provide 30 thousand new homes in Ankara, 21 thousand in Izmir, 13 thousand in Bursa, Gaziantep, and Konya, and 12 thousand in Hatay and Diyarbakır.

Continuation of Previous Successes

Recalling the laying of the foundations for the first mass housing project in Başakşehir, Erdoğan stated, "This application became an example for Turkey. Now we will start a new era."
