Erdoğan Evaluates Eurofighter Negotiations

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan responded to journalists' questions on the plane following his visit to the Gulf countries. He stated that the negotiations regarding the acquisition of Eurofighter combat aircraft are proceeding positively.

Strengthening the Turkish Air Force

Erdoğan expressed that there are comprehensive technical details regarding the Eurofighter acquisition being conducted with Katar and Oman, saying, "The entry of these aircraft into the inventory will make the Turkish Air Force much stronger."

Solidarity on Gaza

In response to questions about Gaza, Erdoğan stated, "The Gaza Task Force is a multi-layered issue; therefore, comprehensive negotiations are ongoing. We are ready to provide all kinds of support to Gaza." He also emphasized the need for sanctions to ensure that Israel adheres to its commitments.

Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Elections

Speaking about the elections in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Erdoğan said, "It is not possible for us to look askance at Northern Cyprus. The elections conducted reflect the will of the Turkish Cypriot people, and this is very valuable to us."
