The UK Advertising Standards Authority has banned a series of advertisements from Coinbase. The authority stated that these advertisements are irresponsible and misrepresent the risks of cryptocurrency investments.

According to the assessments, the advertising campaign falsely implied that cryptocurrency could be a solution to the financial pressures facing Britons, particularly issues such as the cost of living crisis and housing ownership challenges.

Coinbase, on the other hand, argued that the banned advertisements are a critical reflection of economic conditions and stated that these advertisements do not promise simple solutions.
