Recently, while fluctuations have been occurring in the cryptocurrency markets, Coinbase announced that trading for Omni Network (OMNI) futures will be suspended on October 21, 2025. This situation attracted attention among investors and led to a decline in the price of OMNI.

The U.S.-based cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase confirmed in its official statement that OMNI-PERP futures will be stopped on October 21 at 13:30 Turkey Time on both Coinbase Advanced and Coinbase International Exchange platforms. It was announced that the closing price would be determined based on the average index price within the 60 minutes before the trading halt.

Additionally, Coinbase stated that the funding rate would be set to zero before the last funding period and that open positions would be automatically closed at the time trading is halted. The company reserves the right to halt transactions early if necessary and adjust the final settlement price to a reasonable level.

According to CoinGecko data, the price of OMNI is at $2.43 at the time of writing and has shown a decline of %6.1 in the last 24 hours. This drop has become a concern for investors, as OMNI ranks 509 in market capitalization.

There are important points for investors to pay attention to during this process. Firstly, it is crucial to monitor OMNI's price movements and overall market dynamics in accordance with the statements made by Coinbase, as this will be important for making strategic decisions. Moreover, the movements of altcoins like Omni Network provide an important data set for investors to develop a larger interaction and strategy.
