


At the 4th general assembly of the Communist Party of China, the draft of the upcoming 5-year development plan has been approved. This plan stands out as an important part of China's efforts to achieve its national goals.
In the statement released after the meeting, it was mentioned that China has committed to significantly increasing its level of technological independence. The country plans to take steps toward establishing a modern industrial system between 2026 and 2030.
The administration has prioritized the goal of "self-sufficiency" by focusing on advanced technologies such as semiconductors and artificial intelligence. Special emphasis was also placed on new quality production capacities.
Additionally, to maintain the momentum of economic recovery, it was announced that efforts would be strengthened regarding market expectations, employment, and economic stability. This aims to lead the economy into a healthy phase.
During the meeting, Zhang Shengmin was appointed as the Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission of the Communist Party. This appointment is among the strategic moves made to strengthen China's position in the increasing competition with the US.
According to Xinhua News Agency, the Central Committee of the Communist Party will hold a press conference on Friday at 10:00 AM regarding the results of the general assembly. The details of the plan will be announced at the parliamentary meeting in March.
