


Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, along with Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek, attended the opening of the 9th Future Investment Initiative Forum. The forum was held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center under the theme "The Key to Prosperity: Exploring New Frontiers of Growth".
After the opening ceremony, Yılmaz participated in a round table meeting entitled "What's the True Cost of Economic Security?" During this meeting, critical topics such as economic security, the future of global trade, and the impacts of geopolitical developments on investment flows were discussed. Former Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi served as the moderator.
Cevdet Yılmaz, in a post on his social media account, referred to Turkey’s economic vision, stating; “As Turkey, we advocate for an open and resilient economic vision strengthened by strategic diversification. With our geostrategic position, strong production infrastructure, and innovative entrepreneurship ecosystem, we continue to be a reliable production and logistics hub between Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.” Yılmaz emphasized that they are working to grow global prosperity together based on green transformation, digitalization, and international cooperation within the framework of the Turkey Century vision.
