


The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has reorganized the customs processes for the import of certain agricultural products. In this context, customs offices have been granted new authorities, thereby accelerating the processes for live animal imports.
The "Regulation on Determining Customs Offices Authorised for the Entry of Certain Products Subject to the Control of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and Regional Directorates of Agriculture and Forestry Authorized to Conduct Official Controls", prepared by the Ministry of Trade and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, has been published in the Official Gazette and has come into effect immediately.
With the implemented changes, the customs offices authorised for live animal imports have been redefined. As a part of this regulation, the Mersin Taşucu Customs Directorate has also been added to the list of authorised customs offices.
Additionally, the following customs offices have been included in the list of customs offices authorized to carry out import transactions under cross-border trade:
