Borsa İstanbul has decided to implement preventive measures for three stocks as a result of research conducted to maintain market stability. These decisions have drawn the attention of investors, and there are also questions about how trading activities in these stocks will be affected.
According to statements sent by Borsa İstanbul to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), shares of Demisaş Döküm (#DMSAS.E) and İhlas Haber Ajansı (#IHAAS.E) will be traded from February 3, 2026, to March 2, 2026. During this period, the mentioned stocks will not be subject to short selling and margin trading. This situation aims to minimize possible negative fluctuations in the market by preventing investors from opening short positions.
On the other hand, an important measure has also been taken for the shares of Atlas Menkul Kıymetler Yatırım Ortaklığı (#ATLAS.E). This stock will be traded with an order package measure starting from February 3, 2026, until March 2, 2026. The order package measure includes several significant restrictions. These restrictions include the limitation of market orders and entry of limit orders from the market; prohibition of order cancellation, order quantity reduction, and worsening of order prices; and limitation of order collection information sharing.
All these measures aim to help establish a more solid foundation for the market, while it is crucial for investors to closely monitor these developments. A critical period is beginning for stock investors. In this context, it is of great importance for investors to manage their risks well and to be prepared for market movements.
