BlackRock has announced the iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) as one of the three prominent investment themes for 2025. This announcement comes despite the fact that Bitcoin has dropped over 4% in price this year.

The iShares Bitcoin Trust has attracted more than $25 billion in investments since the beginning of the year, making it the sixth most popular ETF in terms of new investments this year.

This move demonstrates BlackRock's belief that Bitcoin should be included in diversified investment portfolios. Despite traditional alternatives performing better, Bitcoin is still considered an important asset for investors.
