Bitcoin Accumulation Doubled: Long-Term Investors are Gaining Strength

Recently, while the price of Bitcoin (BTC) has shown a decline, there has been a significant increase in the number of addresses accumulating Bitcoin. In the last two months, these addresses have more than doubled, reaching record levels. Although a slowdown in overall market demand has been observed, these wallet holders, defined as long-term investors, continue to pursue an aggressive accumulation strategy.

According to data from a CryptoQuant analyst, over 375,000 Bitcoin have been accumulated in just the past 30 days, marking the highest level recorded historically. Particularly, the behavior of accumulating addresses meeting certain criteria indicates a tendency among long-term investors. The CryptoQuant analyst reported that in just one day, 50,000 Bitcoin were added by such addresses, noting that the trend observed since September has accelerated.

The monthly accumulation average, which was around 130,000 Bitcoin two months ago, has now reached 262,000 Bitcoin. This indicates that investors are increasing their Bitcoin holdings through bulk purchases, unaffected by market fluctuations. According to the CryptoQuant analyst, these addresses have been active in the last seven years, have executed at least two purchase transactions, have made no sales, and consist of wallets that are not known exchange or miner addresses.

It is stated that Bitcoin demand has increased during the period of decline. The analyst suggests that Bitcoin ETFs approved in the U.S. are also accelerating the accumulation trend. These ETFs simplify access to Bitcoin for institutional investors while individual investors continue to strengthen their long-term holding strategies. The accumulation rate of addresses in recent months has nearly doubled and this trend is continuing to accelerate.

An important observation point for investors is the behavior of these accumulating wallets and their ability to seize buying opportunities even when market demand shows fluctuations.
