As Borsa Istanbul enters the last week of October, stock-specific movement has significantly increased. Overall, the index has followed a cautious course, but strong price increases in certain stocks have attracted attention.
Among the standout stocks, Ral Yatırım Holding achieved the highest return with %30.87. This increase was supported by the company's strong balance sheet and its leading position in the sector. Following it were Türkiye Sigorta with %23.46 and Pasifik Eurasia Lojistik with %22.93. These three stocks played a significant role in investors' renewed interest in stock-specific opportunities.
Recent profitability expectations have brought a rise, especially in the finance and insurance sectors. Additionally, it has been observed that retail and energy companies have also attracted investors' interest. For instance, Eczacıbaşı İlaç demonstrated stable growth in the health sector with a return of %21.36.
In the energy and retail sectors, it appears that domestic demand dynamics have supported pricing. Şok Marketler with %20.61, Aksa Enerji with %19.76, and Işıklar Enerji Yapı Holding with %14.46 are among other notable stocks. Investors' interest is particularly directed towards companies with strong balance sheets and low multipliers.
In the past month, rather than a broad-based rally in the BIST 100 index, thematic and sector-based increases have stood out. In the short term, it is expected that investors will focus more on finance and health stocks. This indicates that investors are inclined to invest in companies with sustainable growth and profitability potential.
