As of December 22, 2025, technical indicators are an important guide for stock market investors. In this article, we will examine the stocks within the BIST 100 index that give 'buy' signals based on technical analysis indicators.
Among the indicators that provide buy signals are; stocks being above their 9, 21, 50, and 200-day exponential moving averages, MACD being above 0, RSI being below 70, and both the Stochastic and Stochastic RSI indicators being below 80. The combination of these indicators represents significant opportunities for investors.
Technical analysis focuses on past price movements to attempt to predict the future price direction. In this context, especially indicators such as exponential moving averages, MACD, RSI, Stochastic, and Stochastic RSI are frequently used by investors. The fact that stock prices are above their moving averages generally indicates that an uptrend may continue.
The exponential moving average calculates the average of price movements over a specific period, giving more weight to recent movements. A rising EMA and the price of the instrument being around the EMA generally signals a buy.
MACD (Moving Average Convergence/Divergence) shows the relationship between short-term and long-term trends of prices in technical analysis. When MACD is above 0, it indicates a bull market, while being below indicates a bear market.
RSI produces values within a specified range (0-100) to determine overbought or oversold conditions, while the stochastic indicator measures price momentum. Both indicators provide important information to investors about the market.
