The BIST 100 index saw a low of 10,654.20 points and a high of 10,928.38 points this week, closing the week at 10,720.36 points, losing a total of %1.27 in value.
In the Grand Bazaar, which is the focus for small investors, the gram sale price of 24-carat gold rose to 5,346 liras with a weekly increase of %2.73. The republic gold also started trading at 36,069 liras, gaining %2.72 in value, following a similar trend.
The price of the quarter gold, which was 8,716 liras at the end of last week, has increased by %2.74 this week, reaching 8,955 liras.
In currency rates, a critical indicator for investors, the US dollar gained %0.34 in value this week, reaching 41.8280 liras, while the euro decreased by %1.28, dropping to 48.3750 liras.
Investment funds gained %0.36 in value this week, while pension funds lost %0.31 in value during the same period. When evaluating fund categories, among investment funds, the "precious metals" funds continued to lead with the most gains at %6.55.
