Binance has launched futures trading for its new altcoin for stability.

The world's largest cryptocurrency exchange Binance has announced the addition of a new altcoin to its futures trading platform. According to the announcements made on November 6 (Thursday), futures contracts for Stable (STABLE) will open for pre-market trading with a maximum 5x leverage using Tether (USDT) margin.

The STABLEUSDT contract will be available for trading at 3:00 PM Turkey time. The Stable project is designed as a system to perform stablecoin transfers in a scalable manner. This project is defined as an EVM-compatible layer 1 blockchain supported by the Bitfinex and Tether ecosystem.

The total supply of the Stable project is set at 100,000,000,000 STABLE. The goal of the initiative is to create a stablecoin-focused infrastructure to conduct transactions in this area more effectively. Binance has stated that the funding rates during the pre-market trading period will be limited to +0.005%, after which these rates will be updated to be in the range of -2.00% to +2.00%. It has also been indicated that the funding rates will be updated every 4 hours.

Binance reserves the right to change the maximum leverage ratio and trading limits depending on market conditions. Additionally, it has been announced that the relevant futures contracts will support the Multi-Assets Mode feature. With this feature, users will be able to trade contracts with different collateral assets such as Bitcoin. It has been emphasized that the conversion of the STABLEUSDT contract into a standard perpetual futures contract will be possible with the listing of the relevant asset on the spot market, and that no separate announcement will be made for this conversion.

During the pre-market trading period, it has also been reported that the instantaneous prices will be updated every second based on the average of the last 10 seconds of trading prices. This trading opportunity stands out as an important development for investors.
