Binance is removing futures contracts for two altcoins.

Recently, the fluctuations in the cryptocurrency markets have drawn the attention of investors, while one of the largest crypto exchanges, Binance, is making a significant change. Binance announced that on November 13, 2025, it will remove MANA (Decentraland) and EGLD (MultiversX) COIN-M futures contracts from the platform. This development may bring some important negative scenarios for investors.

In the statement made by Binance, it was noted that the MANAUSD and EGLDUSD futures will be automatically closed and settled as of November 13 at 09:00 (UTC). Users are advised to manually close their positions before this time to avoid automatic liquidation. Additionally, it will not be possible to open new positions from 08:30 on this date.

Prior to the futures expiration, a volatility warning was also issued for Binance users. The platform stated that the Futures Insurance Fund would not be used in the last hour before liquidation, urging users to be cautious of high volatility and low liquidity risks. It was reported that liquidations during this process would be carried out at once in the market using the Immediate or Cancel (IOCO) method. If the remaining positions do not meet margin requirements, the automatic deleveraging (ADL) system will be activated.

To protect its users against potential market fluctuations, Binance announced that it plans to take additional measures. These measures include adjusting leverage values, margin ratios, and funding rates when necessary. Binance's move is seen as part of a strategy to strengthen risk management in futures and effectively phase out low-volume contracts.
