Binance's Leadership

Binance has become the largest platform in terms of open positions in Bitcoin futures. Currently, there are approximately 125,000 Bitcoins on the platform. This corresponds to a nominal value of about 11.2 billion dollars.

CME's Decline

On the other hand, open positions in Bitcoin futures for CME Group have decreased to approximately 123,000 Bitcoins. This has been recorded as the lowest level seen since February 2024.

Decline in Institutional Demand

The tight spot-futures spreads in the markets have led to the resolution of fundamental trades. This situation has reduced institutional demand on CME, impacting market dynamics.
