


The Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek announced important steps to provide financing support for exporters in his recent social media post. Şimşek stated that the daily limit for rediscount credits has been increased from 300 million TL to 4.5 billion TL.
The Minister emphasized that exporters can access these loans at a cost of approximately half of the market interest rate, and noted that the scope of these loans has been expanded. He also mentioned that the total limit for foreign currency rediscount has been raised to 1 billion dollars.
Şimşek announced that the capital of Eximbank has increased more than 5 times, reaching 88.4 billion TL, and stated that the bank is expected to provide a total of 53 billion dollars in cash and non-cash support to exporters this year.
Şimşek remarked, "We will resolutely continue to support exports and value-added production to rise to higher ranks in global value chains."
